Green Smoothie

A large proportion of the population is deficient in vital minerals and vitamins that only greens contain. We are simply not consuming enough of this wonderful food type. It's said that Chimpanzees share 99.4% of the same genes with humans, and if this is true, then it makes sense that our diet should be 99.4% similar. Chimps possess an extremely strong natural immunity to AIDS, hep C, cancer, and other fatal human diseases. This graph shows the clear difference between the SAD, a chimpanzee's diet, and one of a raw foodist.
Even raw foodies need to increase their greens!

So this has to be one of my favourite smoothies. It was the first "green" drink I'd ever created, and the first time I'd introduced Chlorella into my diet. Not only does it taste great, but it's so nutritious! In my mind, there's no better way to increase one's greens consumption than by blending & combining with fruit - making digestion all the more efficient :)

Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 tsp Honey
1/2-1 tsp Spirulina or Chlorella Powder
Handful Baby Spinach
Handful Blueberries
1 cup Almond Milk

(Optional) 1 Mango, 1 Orange, 1 tsp Flaxseed Oil, Couple of Strawberries

Method:
Combine all ingredients into a blender, and voila! One delicious smoothie.
